My dentin is exposed and my dentist wants me to get crowns on all my teeth because eventually my teeth will rot. I hate the look of crowns on front teeth. The front of my teeth look fine. I still have some enamel and most of my dentin. I've just recently (in the past few days) begun experiencing sensitivity. Hot and cold, sour and sweet foods do not bother me, just pressure on my front teeth. Is there any chance I can wait a couple years to see if dentin therapies will keep my teeth from having to be sawed down and capped? Also, which toothpaste is better in this situation: Arm & Hammer Age Defying with ACP, or Sensodyne? Would using both be overdoing it as far as tooth-brushing goes?
