Leukaemia also known as Blood Cancer is charecterized by abnormal increase in the number of Leucocytes which are also known as the White blood cells, due to the increased proliferaton of these cells.

Classification of Leukaemia:

  1. Acute
  2. Chronic
The Acute and Chronic are further Classified as
Acute:
  • Lymphoid (Lymphoblastic)
  • Myeloid (Myelogenous)
Chronic:
  • Lymphoid (Lymphocytic)
  • Myeloid (Myelocytic)

    It is a nice information about Leukemia. Leukemia is cancer that starts in the tissue that forms blood. Leukemia is a disease that affects blood forming cells in the body.
